I’m working with another designer and some writers on a new site called All Stats. It’s a project to take user submissions and set up illustrated info-graphics about the person, place or thing. We’ll take anything for a suggestion – a celebrity, a character, a cartoon, a brand, a country….etc, anything that you’d want to learn about.

We’re pretty stoked on the things that have come in so far. In the first 8 days of running, we’ve put up statistics about Ray Arnold (Samuel L Jackson from Jurassic Park), Zack Morris and Pabst Blue Ribbon. Posters will be for sale in limited runs of 20 for every info-graphic. Check it out and let us know what you think!

It’s a little premature but here’s a little something for the Bulls fans. Personally I’m a Celtics fan, and I just don’t want to see Bron-bron with a ring this year…but Taj Gibson’s playing in Game 1 was unreal.

Playoffs are my favorite time of year.

I got a pretty unusual amount of site traffic this past week with search terms related to Obama’s 2012 campaign. I got a little curious to see how a search engine ranks my garbage site, so I ran a search and found my Obama artboard at a few different sites.

I’m flattered some people enjoyed the artwork. I’m pretty stoked people think the samples look legit enough to be real.

This is Clark. This started as a poster design for someone but I just didn’t get it right. Trying to do a 3 color print just kind of sucked. I went back and reworked a different screenshot from Christmas Vacation and the finished product came out a lot better.

The unused Clark is going up as today’s garbage.

Still airing out the old stuff. This is a logo I was working on for a run of shirts for my friend’s skateboard shop in Ithaca. I messed around with it for a while and it just never worked. I narrowed in on either the black or the mustard but it didn’t seem to fit the brand so I never really submitted it.

Another artist did a similar design for a run of boards for Krud in Rochester, but he did it better. Figured it could go up on here without hurting anybody’s feelings. Stop over to his site to pick up some boards, shoes or clothes.

Keeping up with the ‘greatest misses’ updates; here’s a logo/letterhead I was working on for a friend’s business. Originally I was trying to just do bold block letters but it comes out too modern every time. I thought the old chap on the bicycle over the “D” would throw somewhat of a classic theme to it. It just never worked. Never really threw this out there until now. Gill Sans also sucks for a type. Eh well, it’ll see daylight for the first time now as a complete miss.

She did take a logo from Colin that you can see over at her site.

Submitted some shirt designs to threadless a few months back and just found one of the leftovers that didn’t make it. Hopefully Scott or somebody will want to print some of these up. I’m recommending a solid pink shirt for maximum douche effect.

My friend Kyle asked me to make a little poster to put up or hold up at SU home games this year. I guess he threw a few up around campus but other than that it’s not getting used, so I decided to toss it up here as scrap.

*Don’t tell Steve Berra I used that Thursday thing as my title or he might sue me.
